Today is my birthday and it’s only since Siena was born that I realized what that day meant… birth day, being yes what is obvious to most… the day I was born. Before I had Siena I just knew that day was about cake, presents and family (all of the wonderful memories I hold dear to my heart from growing up) but since I had her and experienced a day of birth from a mothers point of view, this day now seems so much more meaningful. My husband and friends have asked me what I want for a present and I really don’t want anything (except the chocolate cake my daughter and husband are making from scratch for me to eat when I get home from work). I feel so lucky to be helping lead the charge at KIRO TV to plan a mobile tweetup for next Wednesday August 24th that will benefit the Moyer Foundation. Eating Donuts To Remember A Fellow Husky

Siena and I headed to get some donuts for the Hogan family today all for a great cause. Our co-worker Ryan Barber’s family had a fundraiser to support a donation/memorial for SPD officer and UW alum Joselito Barber. The Top Pot on 5th Ave was packed, the line went all around the store then out the door. My New Favorite TV Dress

Calvin Klein gray dress Check out the dress I wore on TV today. It’s a gray Calvin Klein dress and I always get a lot of awesome comments when I wear it so I thought I’d share where I found it. I went down to the Hydroplane pits today. Here are the photos I took. I loved hanging out with hydro driver Kaleigh. Her and I had fun girl chat about her pink nail polish (which she is hoping is her lucky color). She’s excited to race tomorrow.
